A 2000 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Jerome Stewart, 33, of Newark was headed south when it crashed into two cars that were waiting to turn into the Harriman Train Station. Sterwart’s vehicle then careened into oncoming traffic and hit a 2000 Chrysler van driven by 74-year-old Paul Force of Woodland Park. Force’s 66-year-old wife Sarah died later at a hospital in Suffern, NY. Mr. Stewart and two of his passengers were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
